Urban Decay Basics Palette Review

Okay, so yeah i'm a little late on the hype with this one since the second one has been released recently, however since I have the three main palettes I've never felt the need to get this one aswell as every look I want to create I can do with those or with my Mac shadows. So why did I buy this? I hear you say, well other than being a complete make-up hoarder (putting my hands up here) I'm going away next week and hate taking a massive make-up bag so after stalking this little guy for a few weeks I manned up and bought it.

Do I regret this purchase? Absolutely not!! I'm actually amazed at how long I've managed to put off buying this, having 6 matte neutral shades in a small compact palette is like perfection to me. The shades range from a white/cream to a black all of which are highly pigmented and blend beautifully just as all other Urban Decay shadows do. I've only tried it once so I haven't had chance to see the different looks I can get out of it yet, however it definitely holds all the colours you need whether its a barely there daytime look or a deep sultry evening look this little one has you covered!

L-R: Venus, Foxy, Walk Of Shame, Naked 2, Faint, Crave.
I feel like this would be a great palette for someone who wants to try a more high end palette but isn't too confident about how to use different shades as mattes blend so nicely and it's pretty hard to make any of these shades look bad. I'm really glad that I finally got my hands on this and I can tell it's going to remain in my make-up bag for a longgggg time!

Thankyou for reading, please leave any comments below, I will reply to everyone!
