Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eyeshadow Palette.

Summer collections in the beauty world have to be my favourites, and the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess release is always perfection to me. This year I got my hands on the eyeshadow palette and it has lived up to all my expectations. The palette consists of eight shades, 5 of which are satin finish warm neutral shades while there are three shimmer shades that can really change the looks you can achieve.

For anyone that loves a neutral eye this palette is definitely worth a look at, the shades are super blendable and easy to work with. There is the dark brown shimmer if you want to go from day to night aswell as an olive green which im loving putting on the lower lashline to change up an everyday look.

If you're thinking about trying a new eyeshadow palette this season I would highly recommend giving this one a go, its got such versatile shades and has a lovely formula.

Let me know what your favourite summer collection is this year, I read every comment and will reply to any questions!

Christmas Gift Ideas: The Naked Palettes.

Now December is just around the corner and gift guides are continuously filling up the blogging feeds I decided to do a post on something that isn't exclusive at Christmas but is a very nice present for anyone. Urban Decay's Naked Palette range is one of my favourites and I have a space in my heart for all of them however I do of course have a favourite and one that I dont use all that much so today I'm going to just do a quick talk through of each palette so if you're are considering gifting one or even treating yourself hopefully this will help you decide which one is for you.

So the original Naked Palette, my absolute all time favourite of the whole collection which definitely shows from the battered packaging! These 12 shadows are all warm toned and have two really great transition shades in Naked and Buck both of which are well loved in my particular palette. This one comes in suade effect packaging with a magnet shut which is different to the other two, I find this one to be lighter so also travel friendly. My favourite look with this palette is Virgin as my browbone shade, Naked in the crease, Buck in the outercorner, Sidecar all over the lid and finally Toasted on the bottom lashline.

Now for the second edition and weirdly this was the first one I bought out of the three and is my least favourite. These are all cool toned shadows and although it contains some really beautiful shades I just dont reach for it very often, I find I use this more when I want to achieve a smokey eye. For my favourite look with this palette I use Bootycall on my brow bone then Suspect all over my lid, I put Snakebite in the outercorner and drag it across the crease then the add more depth I pack Busted right in the outercorner and on the bottom lashline.

Finally I have the Naked 3 and this one I actually really like, I love purple eyes especially for a Christmas party and these 12 shadows all work together beautifully. I would probably buy this palette for someone who is a bit more confident with makeup as with the other two it is fairly easy to achieve a nice eye look with any combination whereas this may seem slightly scary to someone that keeps things natural. My go to look with these shades is Strange on the browbone, Limit in the crease, Nooner in the outer corner and the bottom lashline with Burnout all over the lid and Dust in the inner corner.

I really love all of these palettes and think they are a great idea for a Christmas present if you're feeling generous this year! I hope you liked this post, please leave any comments below, I read every one and will reply to any questions!

Little Splurge..

Okkk so I think it's fair to say I've done quite a bit of shopping recently and a quick visit to Debenhams ended up with me purchasing these three things above. I initially went to have a look around at Christmas gifts and see what the general offers were but when I walked past the Bobbi Brown counter I had to stop and just stare at the beautiful holiday collection; I obviously ended picking something up and since there were some bonus points to get to I persuaded myself (didnt take much) to grab a couple of other things too.

I picked up the Clinique duo set at the beginning of the store and couldn't believe it was only £10, inside is two of their Chubby Sticks, one of the originals in the shade Chunky Cherry and then an Intense one in the shade Curviest Caramel; both are beautiful shades and seasonally appropriate.
Then I got to the Bobbi Brown counter and gazed at their new collection until deciding on the Mini Eye Palette, this contains eight eyeshadows with a complete mix of formulas that are perfect for Christmas. The packaging is beautiful and so compact that its perfect to put in your handbag for touch ups and even going from a daytime neutral look to a glamorous evening look. The last item I bought was the pot lip balm that is very similar to the Dior Creme de Rose, I wanted to give this a try as I get really dry lips especially in the winter and love all my other products from Bobbi Brown so I thought I may aswell give it a go!

So thats it for my little haul, I'll hopefully be doing reviews on these soon!

Stila: In The Light Palette.

Who can have too many neutral palettes? Evidently not me! I lose count of how many variations I have of cream, brown and bronze in my collection yet I still always feel that every one of them is slightly different. The main reason I purchased this palette is because it features a shade I have wanted for the longest time which is 'Kitten', this shade alone made me want this however I'm now finding that I love every shade which is rare for me when I buy a non custom palette.

In The Light has eight eyeshadows inside and features four matte shades, and six shimmers. The colours are all really pigmented and blend beautifully together, and it is also really easy to go from a daytime barely there look to a smokey night out. The set also comes with a dark brown khol, that seriously does not budge!

The Shades:
Bare - nude pink
Kitten - rose toned gold
Bliss - soft brown
Sunset - copper
Sandstone - deep warm toned brown
Bubbly - soft gold
Gilded Gold - mid brown with gold glitter
Luster - shimmery grey
Night Sky - silver blue
Ebony - matte black
