Loving the Brand - Chanel.

Continuing on with my 'Loving the Brand' series I have gone or a brand that I have accumulated bits of when I have felt like a real treat. Chanel is one of those brands that gives an experience whenever you go to the counter, everything feels special which adds to the purchase and to my love for their products.

Recently I did a post about a repurchase of the Tan de Soleil (here) which is a complete holy grail product for me as it gives the perfect amount of warmth to the skin and can be built up so even when I'm my ghostly pale self it looks natural.
In terms of mascara I will normally reach for natural bristle brushes as they suit my lashes better, but after hearing reviews I decided to give the Inimitable Intense mascara a try, it claims to give volume, length, curl and separation which all sounds rather amazing. I have been impressed with how this mascara makes my lashes look long and fluttery which I find hard to get from silicone bristles - this was definitely a special purchase for its expense but I like to keep it for special occasions when I want those false looking lashes,
Now for a purchase that wouldn't shock anyone, I had to invest a nude pink lipstick so when I saw the shade Boy from the Rouge Coco Shine range it was love at first sight. As the formula is more hydration based it doesn't last as long as matte shades however I always get dry lips so this is super comfortable for me to wear and is easy to top up during the day. I would recommend this shade to anyone as I feel like its one of those that would go with any makeup look and is perfect to be kept in a handbag.
Lastly is abit of a mad purchase that I have come to love and now will start considering shades from their permanent line. I picked up one the Long Lasting Eyeliners from the Spring collection in the shade Fervent Blue which is the most beautiful deep blue shade I have ever seen! I felt like a moth being drawn to a metallic blue super creamy flame - this could seem a completely mental shade to some but I have worn it with a simple black cat eye on the lid with this on the bottom lashline, I think its an effective way to add a pop of colour to your look without going for a bold smokey eye.

Bronze Goddess Scent - A Splash of Sunshine?

Top Notes  Zesty citrus notes of Sicilian bergamot, mandarin, lemon and orange.
The Heart - T
iare flower, jasmine, magnolia and orange blossom.
Base Notes - A
mber, coconut milk, vanilla, vetiver, sandalwood and myrrh.

Is it summer yet? no? well I've found a fragrance that is the season in a bottle, although this scent is normally released in the summer months I had a bottle for Christmas and I am loving it! With all this cold weather and dark days I normally reach for my more warming scents like Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger but this splash of sunshine has me reminiscing of those warm evenings and holidays somewhere lovely.

It is a very light fragrance but has a fresh warmth, the coconut is quite obvious on my skin but is still soft and just gives a subtle scent. I would say if you are a fan of heavy scents this may not be the choice for you, but I cant stop reaching for it.

Let me know your current favourite perfume right now - Thanks for reading!

Soap & Glory - Highlight & Sculpt Sticks

Recently I decided to go for a quick wander round the beauty section of Boots to see if there were any new releases that were worth a try and whilst scanning the Soap & Glory counter I came across these new Highlight & Sculpt Sticks; there are three in the collection but one was sold out.

Now without even swatching these I was hoping they would be a dupe for the Nars Multiple Sticks and they definitly are! These are sheerer than the Nars ones but the shades and blendability is just as smooth, the one that was sold out was very similar to Copacabana, a pretty lilac highlight that is stunning on paler skintones. The blush shade with its pink and gold glow just screams Nars Orgasm, I would say this one has abit more glitter than sheen but for the price point its completely worth it - and lastly is the bronze this is more of a blush tone to me than a bronzer but still super pretty, I think this would look amazing in the summer with a bronze smokey eye and a nude glossy lip!

If you have been looking into the Nars sticks and arent sure about the price tag these would be a great way to try the shades and product type out without the splurge - I will always love the Nars versions but these are the best dupes I've seen!

Too Faced: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar

Did I really need another neutral palette? Yes is the answer! I have always been interested in the Too Faced Chocolate bars as they have a colour pop theme in each one - the original has a wine/purple theme to it whilst the semi-sweet has a beautiful bold blue that is stunning mixed with the warm caramels.
The palette is made up of a mix of mattes and shimmers all of which are amazingly pigmented and blend really well, I have been using this for about 2 weeks and have done daytime barely there looks to a full on birthday smokey eye. I do have a favourite shade that basically made me buy the palette and that is Peanut Butter; I cannot get over how perfect this shadow is for the crease, I have been using Coconut Creme all over the lid from lash to brow, then Mousse in the crease, with LOTS of Peanut Butter on top with Bon Bon placed on the inner two thirds of the lid to add abit of sparkle for my go-to daytime look.

I will be doing a few looks from this palette to show its diversity in a future post and how if you're in the market for that one palette that you can create a load of looks and not lack inspiration!

Current Faves.

So although around now I should be doing my January favourites, I haven't really got any products that I have just started loving so I thought I would do a post on some staples that I have been picking up alot over the recent couple of months.
For makeup I have two products that I have become obsessed with recently and the first is the Tom Ford lipstick in Spanish Pink - now I am a sucker for a nude pink, I probably own enough to set up my own store, so why buy another one? Honestly, I was intrigued by the price tag as I couldnt understand how a lipstick could be worth £38 it seemed completely insane to me so I wanted to see what the fuss was all about, and well... I get it. The lipstick is super creamy and pigmented and the shade I have is my everyday shade that I can put on with any makeup look - my advice would be to buy a shade you will get a lot of wear out of as although a vibrant red might look beautiful but you dont want nearly £40 worth of lipstick being put away in a drawer from not being used very often. My next favourite is a foundation and this is a weird one for me as I really did not get on with this when I first tried it 4 years ago however I wanted to try a full coverage foundation and figured I might aswell give it another try and I am so glad I did. If you have very dry skin I really would stay clear of this foundation as that was my problem when I first tried it however my skin has now balanced much more and I find this wears beautifully throughout the day, I can go a day at work and not need to touch up my base (round of applause!) which is completely new to me - im super impressed with this and will be doing a full review on it soon.

I now have a fragrance favourite and this is certainly not new to me however I have rekindled my love for it over the Christmas months. Jo Malone's signature scent in Pomegranate Noir is such a distinct perfume, it has a comforting warmth that I absolutely love, the first time I wore it was on my 21st birthday so its become abit nostalgic aswell now.

And finally for my life changer! And no im not being over dramatic this lip balm is completely amazing. I know I am pretty late to the party on this one but I am converted - Nuxe's Reve De Miel Balm is like a mask for your lips. I suffer from cracked dry lips all year round so when I want to wear a bold lipstick I tend to just give up as it never looks very nice however if I apply this balm in the morning and when I go to bed at night my lips stay hydrated and comfortable all day. I cannot rave about this one enough - if you suffer from dry lips and have tried pretty much everything, check this one out!!

So thats it for this post, thanks for reading, please leave any comments or questions below!

Holy Grail Repurchase.

So I'm welcoming the new year with not a new love but a repurchase of an old one - the Soleil Tan De Chanel has featured on my blog before and for good reason! As a beauty addict I tend to change up my routine quite often but this is the one product I use every day without fail.

This is a cream bronzer that blends beautifully on the skin and gives a sunkissed natural tan - I use this when I am my natural ghostly self or even when I have tan on and it suits me both ways as you can build it up without it going orange or cakey! I have also been impressed with how long it takes to get through one of these, I have had mine for about 18 months and have only just needed to get a backup. If you are in the market for a new bronzer but struggle to find one that doesnt make you orange then I would definitely give this one a go - although it is pricey the time it takes to get through one of these with daily use is worth the price tag.

I will always be looking for a more affordable dupe but so far I have had no luck!

Hope you all are having a great start to 2016, I read every comment and will answer any questions,
thanks for reading!

Quick and Easy Smokey Eye.

I am a major fan of an intense smokey eye look however I'm not so fond of the time it takes to achieve, so when I found this quick and easy way of creating a similar look I figured I may aswell share it - so here goes!

For any smokey eye I use an eye primer and for this look I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion as it locks the shadows in place for long wear! I then reached for my Clinique gel liner in Black Honey but you can use any shade of gel liner which is the main thing I love about this look, the same steps can be used in any colour, a black gel can create a gorgeous smokey eye in the same way as I have done this look and is great for the holiday season. However the Black Honey shade is this beautiful purple toned brown with gold running through it - I pat this on and keep adding layers to create as much intensity as I want I then blend the edges with a fluffy brush so theres no harsh lines.
For the second step I used a similar toned shadow and placed this over the top, this helps set the gel liner and again add more intensity. For my look I used the mid brown shade in the Morning Java palette from Clinique which has that similar purple undertone running through. To add abit more depth I then picked up a small amount of the darkest shade in the palette and placed this on the outer corner and blended the excess into the crease. I then took the same two colour on a small shader brush and took it under the eye to bring it all together!
To finish I used lots of mascara and right now I keep reaching for the Max Factor Velvet Volume mascara which does exactly what it says on the tin, I have also found it really extends my lashes whilst leaving them feeling soft rather than others that can feel stiff and uncomfortable on the eyes.

I'm really enjoying wearing this look at the moment and will definitely be trying it in different colours to see how many different looks I can achieve (stay tuned!) I hope you enjoyed this post - I read every comment and will reply to any questions!

Complexion Perfection!

So the party season is upon us again, and the full coverage foundations, glittery eyeshadows and red lipsticks are being dusted off for their return. I have been looking for a flawless complexion duo for a while now and although I do have other foundations and concealers that I enjoy using these two new additions are my bit of luxury for when I need that perfected face.

Tom Ford is a brand I have always lusted after and really just signifies luxury to me, the packaging is always sleek and everything just feels special - which of course it should for its hefty price tag! Now for the foundation I chose to try the Traceless Perfecting Foundation which once applied gives a luminous glow to the skin, and although it feels lightweight the coverage is exactly how I like it - covers everything whilst still looking like your own skin. I have tried applying this base with a brush and RT sponge and it works well with  both, the brush gives a higher coverage but the sponge creates a seamless finish, so for the most perfected look I tend to use both.
Then onto concealer which if you're blessed with good skin you can skip however my genetic dark circles (thanks mom!) mean I have to keep one in my routine, so I figured why not try the Concealing Pen which is a twist up and a sponge top applicator which I am really liking for when I need to do touch ups during the day. Similar to the foundation the formula is lightweight yet pigmented and has no problem brightening my undereye area so definitely one to try if you have the same concerns.

Often with luxury beauty products I have some speculation about if its going to be worth the bruise to my bank card but these have been totally worth it to me. I certainly wont be wearing them everyday but im finding being able to reach for them when I have somewhere more special to go or if I'm having a bad time with my skin to be a great option and I would really recommend them for anyone that doesn't mind the splurge!

Dior Addict Lipstick - Im obsessed!

Although I love my makeup, lip products are always my favourite things to try and these from Dior have not let me down! I now have three shades, the one in the image is shade '881 Fashion Night' which is a fuscia toned purple that is great for anyone that loves a berry lip but isn't ready to rock anything too intense. I have now picked up a coral shade in '437 Charmante' which is gorgeous with a bronze toned eye look, and finally my most recent purchase is a neutral pink tone that I wear for my everyday look in the shade '260 Rose Deshabille'.

I've found these lipsticks to be very versatile, depending on the look I am going for I have worn them on their own, over just a lipliner, or on top of another lipstick - all of which wear beautifully and make even the dryest of formulas comfortable.

I would recommend these to anyone and they would make a lovely Christmas present or a nice little treat to yourself as there is a shade for everyone's style!

The Berry Lip Trend.

On a day to day basis I am a nude lip kinda girl however when it comes to the colder months and richer colours come back into season I cant help but delve into my collection and grab those plummy shades. I have a couple that are my holy grail Autumnal lip shades that I reach for every year and also some more recent purchases.

In terms of finish I do tend to prefer a matte or satin as I find the darker shades wear better in those formulas, although I often suffer from dry lips so I just place some Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm on before to keep them hydrated. I also tend to use lipliners with most of these shades to get a cleaner line and to stop any colour bleeding.

L-R: Charlotte Tilbury; Night Crimson..Rimmel; 107..Revlon; Fiery Flamboyante..Mac; Dark Side..Nars; Cruella.

*Charlotte Tilbury in Night Crimson - I LOVE this lipstick, the colour, the formula, the packaging, it's just perfection! The longevity of this product is very impressive and wears off evenly so none of that patchy lip situation going on! Although these lipsticks are at the higher end of the price scale they are worth the hype if you're looking for that one perfect lipstick.

*Rimmel Kate Moss in 107 - I dont think there will ever be an Autumn lip edit without this one featured. The quality of this lipstick for the price is outstanding and delivers everything you need for Fall. I am now on my third purchase of this shade and will continue to repurchase as it is such a great buy!

*Revlon Matte Balm in Fiery Flamboyante - A very new purchase for me, I'm pretty sure this is a new shade as I had never seen it before. I have a couple of these already and adore the consistency, they are perfect for quick and easy application aswell as being comfortable to wear and give great pigmentation.

*Mac in Dark Side - I had to include a Mac shade, although I have quite a collection I dont reach for them as often as I used to, yet I do love the colour range that they do. Dark Side is the newest to my collection and is one I have been reaching for, contrary to its name this is wearable shade and isn't quite as scary as it sounds, I've found patting it down to more of a stain with a balm on top looks really pretty if you want something more subtle.

*Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella - The perfect red. There is no better way to explain this shade, it is definitely a bold statement and is not for the faint hearted if you're nervous of trying a bolder shade however if you're looking for that classic red then you can stop right here because everything you need is in this lip pencil. My only criticism would be it is slightly drying on the lips and therefore does need a balm underneath, but I tend to wear one anyway so its not really a problem.

Skincare Update.

In the past couple of months I have completely updated my skincare regime, as mentioned in my previous post about the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (here) I have had a bit of a rough patch with my skin so although I tend to stay away from trying new products as I have sensitive skin and often get a reaction I decided to take the chance and try something new.

As I have sensitive skin I decided to try brands that are more gentle on the skin, I changed my cleanser to LE Clease & Polish which also duos as my makeup remover. I then tried the Origins GinZing moisturizer which smells amazing, like fresh oranges - which I love first thing in the morning. The formula is lightweight and has a gel-like texture that I prefer to the thicker creams, it sinks into the skin quickly and provides a hydrated base for makeup.
For under the eyes I do prefer a more intense moistuizer so I decided to try the Clinique All About Eyes Rich. This is a thicker cream that does take a little longer to sink in but is completely worth it if you get drier skin around the eyes - I've also found this to help my concealer blend more evenly and wear longer throughout the day.

Let me know of any skincare favourites you would recommend in the comments, I read every one and will answer any questions - Thanks for reading!

The Autumn Edit.

For my second post of the day it's just a quick one! I recently realised that I had subconciously changed my everyday makeup due to the new season without even really noticing, these are products that aren't the classic bold berrys but are the more soft warm tones that brighten the skin up.

As I have a large Mac palette and a quad I tend to swap the quad round with whichever are my most used shades at the current time and recently those have been Paradisco, Mythology, Coppering and Antiqued all of which fall into the orange/rust kind of tones which are perfect for this time of year.
In terms of face products I tend to change up my blush shades and in this case I have been picking up Clinique's blush in Ginger Pop which again is a rich deep orange/bronze shade, I also used this in the summer with golds so this is a all year round kind of colour. On top of that if im feeling like I want more of a glow I use the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Nectar - again the orange shade but with more pink that adds a natural glow to the skin.
Finally for lips and for this I tend to change up on a daily basis but I have been putting the Charlotte Tilbury lipgloss in Ibiza Nights over basically everything aswell as on its own, the gloss adds a sheer wash of nude with gold that enhances the lips when the lights hits them - absolutely stunning!

Let me know of any Autumn staples that are worth picking up in the comments below, I read every one and will reply to any questions - Thanks for reading!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Hot or Not?

Finally getting back to blogging, after finishing uni and settling into a new job I'm able to get back to what I love. Over the past year my skin has gone through what only can be described as a rough patch so I decided to update my skincare and try something new.

I know basically the world of bloggers have already reviewed this product with rave reviews however I wanted to see if it really was worth all the hype. I've been using the cleanser for a couple of weeks now and it is fast becoming a staple for me in my daily routine and heres why...

*It removes makeup at the same time as cleansing which for me is an absolute bonus and even gets that pesky mascara off without having to scrub at your eyes.
*It's very gentle which was a concern for me as I have sensitive skin so trying new skincare is something I tend to avoid and this has left my skin feeling comfortable and cleansed.
*The scent is one I really enjoy, I could imagine some not loving it but I finding it relaxing and a more natural scent rather than chemically.

I would definitely say the Cleanse and Polish is worth the hype, its great for anyone that wants their routine to be quick and easy whilst still feeling cleansed.

Bleach London: Rose Shampoo/Conditioner

For a while now I have had plum toned hair which I love but takes alot of upkeep with roots and vibrance or it just looks abit of a mess. Recently I started looking for ways to tone and maintain the colour of my hair to increase the amount of time between dying and the answer came in an unusual product.

I am well aware the Bleach London range is for what is says on the tin 'bleach blondes' or light coloured hair, however I originally bought their shade Bruised Violet to put on top of my brown hair to tint it slightly and after a great experience with that I dyed it a similar colour permanently. Using their non permanent hair dyes is effective but time consuming since I have to apply to dry hair and leave it for a decent amount of time to get the colour payoff so I looked for an easier alternative.
The rose shampoo and conditioner when used on platinum blonde hair can leave a milky pink tone which is super pretty and tones the blonde at the same time. However I bought the products to try and reduce my hairs tendancy toward going red/ginger as it pink colouring vamps up the purple in my hair and keeps it the colour I want it to be. When using these, I always use them together and will leave both on for a number of minutes and massage in to make sure I get as much from it as possible.

If you are looking to try a different colour or have purple/pink tones like myself and want to keep them vibrant then give these a go. I would highly recommend the range to anyone, as the Bruised Violet shade was even noticable on my dark brown hair.

Let me know of any other ways to maintain the hair colour, any advice is always appreciated! I read every comment and will answer any questions!

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue

It takes alot for a new product to gain a place in my everyday routine but this summer release from Bare Minerals has become an absolute saviour for me. I have dry and sensitive skin, and have pretty much tried every BB/CC cream going from the bargain buys to the high end splurges yet this one has something completely new about it that I'm really excited about!

The formula is gel based and you dont need much to cover your whole face so the tube will last longer (always a bonus!) its coverage, I would say, is medium, which compared to many other products in its catergory is quite high. It blends nicely, I just use my fingers to apply it with and will sometimes just go over it with my beauty blender. There are also quite a few shades which is again different as usually it is either, light, medium or dark so it is more likely to suit your specific skintone and actually give the natural look.

I recently went to Florida and wore this everyday, it didn't melt off my face or move around, it was really impressive and kept my skin hydrated even in the sun. It does have an spf 30 aswell which adds to its benefits and is a bonus if you're going to be in the sun.

I love this product for my skin type, its super hyrdating and gives great coverage for a tinted moisturiser, however I dont know if it would work well on oily skin as it may move around during the day - but thats something I'm not sure of.

If you have tried any new products that you're loving let me know, I read every comment and will reply to any questions!

When Your Skin Needs a Pamper.

Since its Easter Sunday tomorrow and most people are off work and can have a more relaxing day I thought I would share a couple of products that I love to use when I want to give my skin a treat and a well deserved rest from all the make-up thats put on it everyday!

I chosen two masks as I love both, the Balance Me Radiance Face Mask came free with a magazine last month and I couldnt wait to try it out as I have sensitive and dry skin so giving my skin some radiance is always needed. This mask only needs to stay on for 5 minutes so its a great choice if you want to do a mask but dont have alot of time on your hands; it also has a scrub like texture so it buffs away dead skin aswell as bringing out the impurities.
The Second mask is from the Superdrug own brand range and is the Hydration with Vitamin E Moisture Mask, again I chose this due to my particular skin type but they do a whole range to suit everyone. This mask is meant to be left on for about 15 minutes so its lovely if you want to take a bath with it on or just chill out for abit!

Lastly my favourite skincare product...this is my all time holy grail, if I could only take one thing to an island item - Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. This stuff is just incredible, I couldnt sing its praise enough even if I tried! It is expensive but it lasts forever and makes such a difference to my skin that its worth it. I found this bottle in a CCO shop so it was quite a bit cheaper than the regular price, I will definitely buy this over and over again; if your skin is in need of some love give this a try!

Let me know any skincare recomendations, I read every comment and will reply to any questions!

Dior: Fairy Grey

As soon as all the Spring collections come out in the make-up world I get really excited, it's always my favourite season as the shades are usually soft, pretty tones that are easy to wear. This year my immediate attention went to the Dior stand where their collection just stood out to me, and all because one product in particular. I'm not someone who would normally spend such a splurge on one eyeshadow but this was so incredible that I just had to have it.

The shade is Fairy Grey and is probably the most beautiful shadow in my collection. Grey is typically a colour I will avoid as it just seems to do nothing for me however this is completely different and it definitely lives up to its Fairy connotations.
The actually shade is extremely hard to describe and does not pick up on camera anything like it does in person. It is a light grey with different coloured sparkles, which when applied wet makes it go a lilac shade on me and just brightens up my eyes.

If you are a fan of anything sparkley this is the eyeshadow for you! It is basically fairy dust infused haha! Of course the packaging is to die for and feels like pure luxury - the product comes in a box and is then wrapped in a dark blue velvet sleeve making it feel even more special.
I was definitely sceptical about buying something this expensive but I am so glad that I bit the bullet as it is just perfection. I would recommend using it wet as the pigmentation is much higher and gives a really pearlescent effect, or if used dry it just adds a sheer layer of glitter that could boost an everyday look.

Let me know if you've bought anything that your loving recently, I read every comment and will reply to any questions!

Mac: Toxic Tale.

I haven't posted on here in a while due to being crazy busy so I thought I would start back up with a small post on this lipstick that I picked up about two weeks ago and my thoughts on it.

After this shade was released with the Venomous Villains collection in 2010 it has been talked about ever since and I wished I had managed to get my hands on it then - however Mac decided to recently re-release the shade with their Red collection and I knew I had to have it.
The shade is called Toxic Tale and on me it is a coral red that is just so beautiful and will be a staple for summer. It has an amplified finish which is my favourite as they are super pigmented but aren't as drying as mattes.

I find this shade to be really complimentary to my skintone and adds a nice pop of colour. I'm really glad I managed to finally add this to my forever growing collection as it is unlike any other shade I own. I'm not sure if this shade is now still available, I think it sold out quite quickly but I actually got mine from Debenhams as Mac online had none in stock so if you're interesting in the shade it might be worth checking your local stores as they could have some left!

Spring Releases.

As the whole festive season is well and truly over, all the new Spring collections have overtaken the make-up stands and I have to say there are some pretty beautiful collections going around. The Maybelline new releases though really caught my eye, I dont normally buy much from Maybelline but they have released some really lovely products for the new season.

Other than Maybelline I spotted the Makeup Revolution 'The One Matte Stick' in the shade Malibu which is a matte cream bronzer. In appearance these are a dupe for the Nars Multiple and consistency is quite similar aswell; I picked this shade as I wanted to give it a go for contouring. However these are SUPER pigmented and this shade is quite dark so a light hand is necessary, these do blend really nicely so with abit of work it even worked on my ghostly skintone!

Now from Maybelline I picked up their new mascara, 'Lash Sensational' I have tried this and it is good but not my favourite, I really had high hopes for this as I had seen such great reviews but I think it is such an individual thing and this just wasn't quite right.
Secondly I had to pick up one of the new lipsticks to feed my obsession with all things lips. The shade I got was '168 Petal Pink' which is pretty much what it says on the tin, just a really pretty light pink, very summery and bright.
Lastly I reached for one of the new Colour Show polishes and was not dissapointed! The shade is 'Bouquet' and put over a light pink/lilac is just super pretty and very seasonal, it applies pink and white with rose gold to create a floral effect. I can see me using this alot of the upcoming months!

Let me know if you have picked anyrhing up from the new releases for Spring! I read all the comments and will reply to any questions.

Mac Lipsticks: The Nudes

Over the past year there, especially with Kylie Jenner's influence there has been a real surge of the 90's nude lip and I think I have my bases covered. From pinks to browns, mattes to sheer I have found my six favourite Mac nudes. If you want to see other shades from Mac lipstick collection I did do a swatch post which I will link here, my collection has grown since that last post so not all my shades are featured but there are about 20 other shades to have a look at.

From left to right is - Creme Cup, Mehr, Patisserie, Velvet Teddy, Kinda Sexy, Jubilee.

Creme Cup - This is a Cremesheen finish and is an everyday pale pink that looks beautiful when paired with a grey smokey eye. The formula makes it super comfortable to wear and just looks effortless.

Mehr - A matte shade that falls into the Kylie Jenner scale of colours, a deep neutral pink that on me is a my lips but better shade.

Patisserie - A lustre that is fairly sheer but evens out the tone of my lips and to me is very similar to Kinda Sexy in terms of its shade, it seems to be the more glossy version so when paired together they look really pretty.

Velvet Teddy - Probably the most popular Mac lipstick of 2014, this matte shade is a simple nude brown but it just makes the lips look bigger and really amps up an everyday makeup look.

Kinda Sexy - Again another matte finish, this is a warmer toned brown and on me has a look of peach in it, I've been wearing this alot recently with a copper toned eye and the two just look lovely together.

Jubilee - This was my most used lipstick in 2014 summer, it just goes with every makeup look so in the summer when I dont wear very much it just gives it a finishing touch. It's quite a mid/light brown/pink nude with a neutral undertone.

So that is it for my favourite neutrals, I have a feeling that to some having all six may seem unnecessary but in my eyes they are all completely different...
Let me know what your favourite Mac lipstick is below, I read all the comments and will answer any questions!
